An article written by Thomas R. Dominczyk, an attorney with the law firm Maurice & Needleman, P.C., has been published in the April edition of the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal.
The article is entitled "Filing Proofs of Claim on 'Out-of-Statute' Debt." It examines recent case law involving debtors’ attempts to seek affirmative relief from creditors that file proofs of claim for debts that are beyond the relevant statutes of limitations.
