Donald Maurice spoke at the American Bar Association's Annual Meeting in San Francisco on Aug. 9.

Maurice was part of a panel that discussed the ethical issues that arise when representing consumers and defending creditors in consumer financial services disputes.

The panelists examined such issues as internet advertising, fee sharing, vicarious liability, and the unauthorized practice of law.
