Maurice Named 2009 Super Lawyer
Donald Maurice, an attorney with the law firm of Maurice & Needleman, has been honored for the third consecutive year as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in the area of Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights.
New Jersey Super Lawyers is published annually in the April issues of New Jersey Monthly, which has a readership of more than 200,000, and New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine, which is mailed to more than 37,000 New Jersey attorneys. Super Lawyers names New Jersey's top lawyers as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. New Jersey Super Lawyers is based on surveys of the more than 32,000 lawyers across the state who have been licensed to practice for five years or more. The goal is to select as Super Lawyers the top 5 percent of New Jersey attorneys in more than 60 practice areas.
Maurice has been defending the financial services
industry for 20 years. He has published numerous
articles and regularly lectures on the rights of
creditors.
In addition to Maurice, attorney Joann Needleman has also been honored in previous years as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and one of the Top 50 Woman Lawyers in Pennsylvania by Law & Politics Magazine.
Maurice is certified as a Creditor Right's Specialist by the American Board of Certification and is admitted to practice in New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Third Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court.
